Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Just finished reading the philosopher's/sorcerer's stone and wondering whether the sequel will be as great as the former?

Well don't worry because I'll tell you everything you need to know before starting this book. (Don't worry it's spoiler-free).

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets book cover

So after an exciting first year at Hogwarts, Harry was finally getting the hang of things in this magical world.

However, he had to go back to the Dursleys for the summer holidays and they certainly weren't happy.

Well, not as unhappy as Harry was though.

Harry was missing Hogwarts a LOT.

It had become a home to him and he just wanted to go back.

To make matters worse, his friends seemed to have forgotten about him.

Soon things start to get weird when a strange creature visits Harry.

This elf-like creature tells Harry that if he goes back to Hogwarts, terrible things will happen.

And well...he wasn't lying, for when Harry goes back for his second year, someone is turning the students into stone. *Gasp*

You would think that's the worst thing that could happen but soon it becomes even worse when people start suspecting Harry for this heinous crime.

Why would people suspect Harry? The boy who himself defeated you-know-who on two occasions.

Can it BE Harry?

If not, then who is behind all this?

Find out for yourself in this very amazing second installment of the Harry Potter series!
